On the intervening night of 13-14/09/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into Rajadhani jewellery by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments and also cash Rs. 5,000/. The worth of stolen property 24,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 13/09/2008 at 2015 hrs at Chilimbi Mangalore one rider of Pulsar bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-7682 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-375. As result rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-7682, rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-X375 Shrikantha (22) R/o Boloor Mangalore and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/09/2008 at 1215 hrs at Gramachavadi junction Harekala village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7484 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nowfal a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/09/2008 at 1830 hrs on NH 17 at Adamkudur Jappinamogaru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1067 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8522. As a result one Maxim D’Souza (30) R/o Kotekaru Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk motorcycle rider and Sunil Pais pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 14/09/2008 at 2000 hrs on NH 17 at Talapady Mangalore Taluk one Durgadas rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2388 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-7649. As a result Mohammed rider of said scooter and Padmanabha Bhandary (48) R/o Manjeshwara Kasaragod District Kerala State pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-2388 sustained simple grievous injuries.

On 14/09/2008 at 2130 hrs on NH 17 near KISCO Factory at Panambur Mangalore accused 4 unknown persons came in motorcycles and assaulted one Ajay Kumar by hand and also attempted to kill him by assaulting with sword.

On 13/09/2008 at 1030 hrs accused one Manesh criminally restrained one Mahesh (31) R/o Bikarnakatte Nathoor Mangalore at Kukkudakatte Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with a weapon. The motive seems to be personal enmity between them.

• A case of Children missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. Alwin V.S. (15) R/o Kodi house Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk and Joseph M. K. (15) R/o Paddakd house Nelyadi village Puttur Taluk left to Church from their house on 14/09/2008 at 1030 hrs and did not return his house there after.
