- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 05/12/2008 at 1430 hrs on NH 48 at Subramanya cross Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk one Abdul Razak driver of lorry baring Reg. No. KA-02-O-9716 drove his vehicle rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-3178. As a result one Duggappa Gowda rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 04/12/2008 at 1950 hrs on NH 17 near bridge at Baikampady Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9837 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-5039 from behind. As a result one Yajnesha (48) R/o Hosabettu Kulai Mangalore rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 04/12/2008 at 1345 hrs at Gerukatte Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Manjunatha driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9641 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Manjunatha driver of auto rickshaw, Kavitha K. N. and Lingamma who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 05/12/2008 at 1730 hrs near bus stand at Kaikamba Thenkulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Beepathumma R/o Adduru village Mangalore Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3880 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 04/12/2008 at 2100 hrs on NH 48 at Mithabailu Bantwal Taluk one Jaison rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-5474 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ravson (07) R/o Mithabailu Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 04/12/2008 at 2115 hrs at Bakimaru Vittal village Bantwal Taluk one Mohammed Rafique driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-7577 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a rock. As a result one Abdul Majid who was traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.
