- A case under Cruelty by Husband has been registered in Sullia Police Station on the complaint of one Pavithra W/o Prashanth Rai R/o Kayarthody Sullia Town. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Prashanth Rai (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Pavithra owing to family dispute.

No. KA-19-AD-29 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-662 from behind driven by one Mohan Rao B.M. (70) R/o Karangalapady Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged. No casualty reported.

On 06/12/2008 at 1900 hrs near Milagres Church at Mangalore one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lawrence D Souza (53) R/o Milagris Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The driver of unknown vehicle escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 08/12/2008 at 2100 hrs near Mangalore Nursing Home at Mangalore one unknown Ambassador car driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-555 driven by one Alwyn Sunil. As a result one Brejesh (36) R/o Gorigudde Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The driver of Ambassador car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 09/12/2008 at 1000 hrs on NH-17 at Karnadu Mangalore one Ali rider of Honda Active scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-9953 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Guruvappa Anchan a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 09/12/2008 at 2100 hrs near Fish Market at Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Dinesh driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9707 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Active scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3911. As a result Honda Active scooter rider Bhaskara Kulal (43) R/o Adyar village Bantwal Taluk and Kishan pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.
