On 08/12/2008 in between 0545 hrs and 0615 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Wenlock hospital Nursing hostel at Mangalore and committed theft of gold ornaments, a Nokia Mobile, ATM Card and a wristwatch all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

- A case under Cruelty by husband along with Abetment of suicide has been registered in Woman Police Station on the complaint of one Nayanakshi (63) R/o Sequiera Compound Marnamikatte Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Harsha Rao (35) R/o Panjimogaru Kulooru Mangalore and Sumathi gave physical and mental harassment to one Aishwarya W/o Harsha Rao R/o Panjimogaru Kulooru Mangalore to bring more dowry due to which on 21/11/2008 she was committed suicide by committed suicide by hanging in her house.

No. KA-19-Y-1789 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Suresh (18) R/o Bejai Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

No. KA-01-F-7946 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8151. As a result motorcycle rider Ahammed T. (60) R/o Kaprigudde Falnir Mangalore and Atheeka pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 07/12/2008 at 1715 hrs near Rosario Curchgate at Mangalore one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break due which one Geethika (02) who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw was thrown out of the auto rickshaw and sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/12/2008 at 1015 hrs near Ice plant at Bolara Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. CNG-6794 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8149. As a result one Gowtham B (19) R/o Bolar Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 08/12/2008 at 0900 hrs near RTO office at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-AB-5577 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Santhosh Kumar (46) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/12/2008 at 1900 hrs at Falnir Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-6333 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MC-1786 from behind driven by one Paritha Vegas (48) R/o Falnir Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged. No casualty reported.

On 23/11/2008 at 1130 hrs near Shirke go down at NITK Surathkal while one Mohammad (22) R/o Hassan District cleaner of the lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-02-AA-290 while getting down from the lorry the accused one Khadar driver of the said lorry moved the lorry negligently due which Mohammad fell down and sustained simple injures.

On 08/12/2008 at 0730 hrs near Handelu Mosque at Moodabidre Manglore Taluk one Kavin rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-6883 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mirshad (13) R/o Handelu Putthige village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 08/12/2008 at 1830 hrs near court road at Puttur Town one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9462 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Annappa Naik (65) R/o Janatha Colony Padnuru village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The driver of auto rickshaw escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 08/12/2008 at 1230 hrs accused Rithu @ Rithesh, Chandhu, Vinodh, Kamal Bharath and others forming into unlawful assembly at Sulthan Batthery Mangalore and abused Manjunatha (21) R/o His grace apartment Hathill Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with Hockey stick and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that one Manjunatha had earlier lodged a complaint against the accused in Mangalore North Police Station.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. One Sesanna K.A (60) R/o Kulai Mangalore left his house on 01/11/2008 at 0900 hrs did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Man missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Ganesh Shetty (38) R/o K.S Hegde Medical College Deralakatte Mangalore Taluk left his house on 20/11/2008 at 1100 hrs did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
