On 03/12/2008 at 0500 hrs HC 648 Vittal PS along with his staff on credible information intercepted a tempo bearing Reg. No. KL-13-C-8723 at Vijayadka Karopady village Bantwal Taluk and seized 09 wooden logs that were being transported illegally by arresting
- Siddiq @ Aboobakkar Siddiq (31) R/o Karopady village Bantwal Taluk
- Ummar (40) R/o Karopady village Bantwal Taluk.
The tempo has also been seized. The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 1,05,000/. In this connection, a case has been registered in Vittal PS under the Karnataka Forest Act.
