On 10/12/2008 at 2330 hrs Harishchandra P. DySP Headquarter Western Range Mangalore along with his staff on credible information conducted raid on Blue Recreation Club at Market cross road Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 13 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 18,170/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Divakara S (41), Ashoka (42), Abdulla P.M (42), Aseef (38), Ramesh K (55), Ibrahim (31), Padmanabha K (52), Lancy Alwin (28), Abdul Ravoof (28), Abdul Rahiman (35), Rajesh Shetty (26), Krishna Sherigara (32) and Shafi Usman (48) who were indulging in gambling.
The total value of siezed property is Rs. 18,170/. In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Mangalore North PS U/s 78 of the Karnataka Police Act.
