- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station where in one Dinesh Kumar R/o Jalsoor village Sullia Taluk Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 17/12/2008 at 0645 hrs. The said Dinesh Kumar was seriously injuries by a Eicher vehicle in a road traffic accident on 24/11/2008 at 1330 hrs at Marasanka Jalsoor village Sullia Taluk and admitted to K.S. Hegde Hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore. In this connection a case of road traffic accident was already registered in Sullia Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 16/12/2008 at 0815 hrs near bus stand at Nanthoor Mangalore one unknown driver of Quails car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9174 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-3711. As a result motorcycle rider Narayana Salian (46) R/o Bondanthila village Mangalore Taluk and Keshava pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The Quails car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 05/12/2008 at 1400 hrs near KSRTC bus stand at Bejai Mangalore one Yasmeen Bhanu R/o Bengare Mangalore passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-13-F-1393 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which she fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/12/2008 at 1315 hrs near Abbakka circle at Ullal Mangalore one Mansoor driver of Auto Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6413 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2019 driven by one Gangadhara Shetty (40) R/o Madyar Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk. As a result both vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 13/12/2008 at 1445 hrs at Goonadka Pelatthadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk one Santhosha driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-ME-1956 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Auto rickshaw tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7334. As a result Auto rickshaw tempo driver Jainuddin, Abbu, Azeez and Irshad who were traveling in the said Auto rickshaw tempo sustained simple injuries.

On 15/12/2008 at 1900 hrs at Krishna Nagara Ivatthoklu village Sullia Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5823 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-8607. As a result scooter rider one Shivarama Rao D. (58) R/o Kulkanda Subaramanya village Sullia Taluk sustained grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 16/12/2008 at 1900 hrs at Manchubettu Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Roshan Pinto driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7454 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Sanjeeva Gowda @ Subbanna R/o Nada village Belthangady Taluk, Shivappa Poojary, Venkappa Gowda and Gopala Naik who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 14/12/2008 at 1700 hrs accused Karunakara, Manju, Suresha, Chidananda, Jayaprakash, Satheesha, Sudarshan, Keshava, Vidyananda, Suresha Maniyani, Ganesha, Vasantha, Shanthappa, Vijaya, Kalidasa, Naveena Ashoka and 5 other persons forming into unlawful assembly in front of Hariprasad Hotel at Gandhinagara Sullia Town and abused one Abdul Rahiman (22) R/o Kallumuttu Sullia Town in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with sword and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
