- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 28/12/2008 at 1920 hrs on Bypass road at Thinkila Puttur Town one driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-MB-369 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8533. As a result motorcycle rider one Prashanth Rai (23) R/o Marakada Kalladka village Sullia Taluk sustained grievous injuries.
