On 02/01/2007 at 1930 hrs at Vamadapadavu Chennaithodi village Bantwal Taluk one Sudhakara Shetty driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-7943 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Thimmappa Shetty (58) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore, where he succumbed his injuries while under treatment on 03/01/2007.

No. KA-20-M-1815 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9290. As a result motorcycle rider Chidananda, pillion rider Prakash (26) R/o Laila village Belthangady taluk sustained grievous injuries. Further driver of said Jeep dashed against Rajesh Shetty a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

No. KA-20-D-799 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No KA-20-A-778. As a result Mahabala Poojary driver of said auto rickshaw, Babu Devadiga (60) R/o Gundoori village Belthangady taluk and Chandrashekara Moolya who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

As a result motorcycle rider Shaukath Ali (25) Kairangala village Bantwala Taluk and pillion rider Abdul Hameed (24) sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-S-9717 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and suddenly applied break due to which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Chethan Kumar and pillion rider his mother Dharmavathi (48) W/o Belliappa Gowda sustained simple injuries.
