- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodbidre Police Station. On 25/01/2007 at 0030 hrs at Beluvai city Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-7571 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-4982 driven by one Yogish (27) R/o Bondel Mangalore. As a result one Dinesh pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No.KA-19-S-4982 sustained grievous injuries. The rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-7571 escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 21/01/2007 at 1930 hrs one Lalitha (24) R/o Shivanagar Moodshedde Mangalore attempted to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on her self. She got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 25/01/2007 at 2000 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. One Ramesha R/o Anemajalu Puttur Taluk consumed poison on 26/01/2007 at 2000 hrs owing to personal problem. He was admitted to Goverment hospital at Puttur where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1130 hrs.
