In between 10/01/2007 at 1400 hrs and 24/01/2007 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house of one Venkatesh Bhat G. (36) R/o Lakshmi Nivas Falnir Road Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments (76 grams) and silver articles all in worth Rs. 70,000/.

- A case under Attempt to theft has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 23/01/2007 at 1800 hrs and 24/01/2007 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at Panchayath building Malavoor Town Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Hasanabba M. R/o Kenjaru Mangalore Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and attempted to commit theft.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station where in one Sampa Shedthy (50) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 24/01/2007 at 0235 hrs. The said Sampa Shedthy was seriously injured by a road traffic accident on 17/07/2007 at 1600 hrs at Madyaru- Nadaru Road Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the K.S. Hegde Hospital Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Ullal Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 24/01/2007 at 1645 hrs near Vokkethur Vittal Town one Harishchandra Alva driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. CRX-6108 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Sameer (04) R/o Okkettur Vittal Town a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. He was admitted to the hospital were he succumbed to his injuries on the same day while under treatment.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station On 22/01/2007 at 1915 hrs at near Jyothi Circle Mangalore one unknown driver of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-586 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-696. As a result motorcycle rider one Srikara Shenoy R/o Ujjodi Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider his wife and his son Shreyas (06) sustained simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 23/01/2007 at 1545 hrs at Chakravarthi Maidan Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk one Sameer driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9008 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Lathif (05) and Ashrith (05) who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 24/01/2007 at 1100 hrs at Shaktinagara Nekkilady village Puttur Taluk one Dinesh driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-2237 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-T-5681. As a result motorcycle rider Balasubramanya (24) R/o Thannirupantha village Belthangady Taluk and Narayana pillion rider of the said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

On 20/01/2007 at 1830 hrs at Golithadi Nettanige Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Jainuddin rider of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-9741 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed Abdul Razak (22) and Rashid (14) the pedestrians and caused them simple injuries.

On 23/01/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Siraj K (43) R/o Kulur Padukodi village Mangalore came in his Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-4895 and forcibly entered into the Panambur Police Station and abused the Police station staff in filthy language. PSI Panambur who was in the PS intervened and took the culprit into custody and seized a knife from his possession. Further his car has also been seized and a case taken up against him.

On 24/01/2007 at 1545 hrs accused Mohammed Ali Ex Puttur Town municipal member abused one Ibrahim Cheif Excutive Officer Puttur Town Municipality while he was on duty at his office owing to trivial issue.
