On 18/01/2007 at 2245 hrs near Nava Barath circle Mangalore one Venkata Krishna rider of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2235 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Vasantha Kirshna driver of auto rickshaw and Prabakara G. (54) R/o Kundapur who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 19/01/2007 at 1530 hrs near Urwa stores Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MYR-7592 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Karunakara (49) R/o Kottara Urwa Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
