On the night of 30-31/12/2006 a dead body of one unknown male aged about 35 yrs was found on the National Highway No17 at a place called Kolnad of Mulki Police Station limits. As the dead body was having some injury marks on the body, some foul play was suspected and accordingly a case of murder has been taken up in Mulki PS against unkonown accused.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the deceased was thrown out from a tanker belonging to Tamil Nadu on that night at Kolnad. Besides this neither the identity of the deceased nor that of the culprits is established so far.

Wearing white and yellow coloured checks half shirt which has ‘Rolax’ tailor mark, black pant, ‘Titex’ black belt watch, white sandow baniyan, black thread tied on the right wrist, yellow thread tied around neck, black pair of chappals.
