(55) R/o Yelanthila village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 3000/ all in worth Rs. 1,28,000/.

On 22/01/2007 in between 1015 hrs and 1045 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Laptop computer that was kept inside the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8763 belonging to one Fathima Gulnaz (21) R/o Padil Mangalore which was parked in front of Harsha Showroom at K.S. Rao Road Mangalore. The value of stolen property is worth Rs. 35,000/.

- A case under House trespass, Outraging the modesty of woman, Hurt, Mischief of causing damage along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 22/01/2007 at 0130 hrs accused Shashidara, Ramesha and two other persons criminally trespassed into the house of one Jayarama Naik R/o Kaipadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and abused him and his sister Kusuma in filthy language and outraged the modesty of her by pulling her hand and assaulted them with sickle and wooden stick and gave life threat to them and also damaged the front door of the house.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 22/01/2007 at 0930 hrs on NH-17 near NMPT Main Gate Panambur Mangalore one Premachandra (32) R/o Peraje Madikeri district driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-1177 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-6610. As a result motorcycle rider one Krishna (55) sustained serious injuries. He was admitted to A.J. Hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on the same day at 1000 hrs while under treatment.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 23/01/2007 at 0100 hrs on NH-48 near Narahari Parvatha Panemangalore village one Kiran rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1139 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which motorcycle capsized. As a result pillion rider Jayaraj sustained serious injuries and motorcycle rider Kiran sustained simple injuries. Further pillion rider Jayaraj succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

No. KL-07-AX-1985 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-5356. As a result motorcycle rider Prasad and pillion rider Kiran (25) R/o Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 22/01/2007 at 1015 hrs at Dharanda Kukku Kodimbady village Puttur Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8863 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Prashanth (28), his father Setharama (60) and Gangadhara (25) who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthanady Police Station. On 22/01/2007 at 1215 hrs at Somathadka Mundaje village Belthangady Taluk one Shanmukha driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-14-5230 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Veerappa Poojary (46) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 21/01/2007 at 2230 hrs and 22/01/2007 at 0600 hrs one Chandrashkara (32) R/o Nerenagara Kenjaru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into a well near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 22/01/2007 in between 1000 hrs and 1700 hrs one Sudhakara (25) R/o Gilingaje Uli village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station where in the dead body of Shashidhara (46) R/o Boodu house Rekya village has been found from a pond near Rekhya village Belthangady Taluk. The said Shashidhara (46) was reported missing from Uppinangady since 21/01/2007 and in this connection a case of Man missing was already registered at Uppinangady PS. The death seems to be due drowning.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. One Ashwini (19) R/o Paika house Kaniyoor village Puttur Taluk who went to Bale Sullia Taluk at 17/01/2007 at 0900 hrs did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
