- A case under Criminal restraint has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 13/01/2007 at 1700 hrs near Yatheem Khana Ansari Road Mangalore accused one Hayaz D.M. (40) R/o Bunder Mangalore criminally restrained one Shahnaz (33) W/o Yusuf R/o Ansari Road Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/01/2007 at 2330 hrs on NH 17 at K. C Road Mangalore Taluk one Haneef rider of Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-01-X-7297 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Rahman (44) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Furthe the motorcycle also capsized causing simple injury to the pillion rider Shameer (19) R/o Permannur villge Mangalore Taluk.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 13/01/2007 at 1230 hrs Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk one Sudheer H.R rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-164 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bajaj M-80 motorcycle bearing Reg. No KA-19-R-2802. As a result Sudheer rider of the motorcycle, and the pillion rider of the other motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-164 both sustained simple injuries.

No. CRX-5813 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-46-A-1196 driven by one Mehamood R/o Bannur village Puttur Taluk. As a result pillion rider of said motorcycle his wife Mumtaz (24) sustained grievous injuries.
