On 16/01/2007 at 2030 hrs near Bhasaveshwara circle at KPT Mangalore one Viresh driver of Auto Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4903 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which Auto Tempo capsized. As a result Basavaraja, Kalagappa, Thipappa, Ellappa who were traveling in the said Auto Tempo sustained grievous injuries.

Gowda R/o Jappinamogaru Mangalore rider of said Scooter sustained grievous injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthnagady Police Station. On 18/01/2007 at 0700 hrs one unknown female dead body aged about 50 to 55 yrs was found at Nethravathi Snana Gatta Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk. The death seems to be due to drowning.
