- A case of Burglary has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. In between 01/11/2006 at 0800 hrs and 30/01/2007 at 0930 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house of one Amisha Pinto (33) R/o Glorious Pinto Valley Kavoor Mangalore by removing Exhaust Fan and committed theft of gold ornaments all in worth Rs.30,000/.

- A case under Ordinary theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of one Jacintha Pereira R/o Benjanapadavu Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that her relative one Rynor D’Souza (50) committed theft of gold ornaments (40 gms) between 27/01/2007 and 29/01/2007 when he had come and stayed in the house at Valencia belonging to the complainnt. The stolen property is worth Rs. 36,000/.

- A case under MV theft has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 31/12/2006 at 1700 hrs and 01/01/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-8897 belonging to one Abdul Hussain (23) R/o Baikampady Mangalore that was parked at public place near Kaikamba Bantwal Town. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.
- A case under MV theft has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 29/01/2006 at 1930 hrs and 30/01/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-9240 belonging to one Raghava Poojary (28) R/o Yelanthila village Belthangady Taluk that was parked in the premise of Sri Sannidhi Wood Industries Kalleri Karaya village Belthangady Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 12,000/. The case has been transferred from Kasargod district on the basis of jurisdiction.

- A case under Rape, Criminal intimidation along with Cheating has been registered in Ullal Police Station where in it is alleged that one Amanulla Khan (27) R/o Mangalpady Kerala State had sexual intimacy with a Twenty year girl of Kotekaru village by promising to marry her and due which she became pregnant. There upon he cheated her by refusing to marry her and he also gave life threat to her father Hassainer.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 17/11/2006 at 0115 hrs at Avery Junction Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-6432 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-3547. As a result Ivan Raskinz (40) R/o Falnir Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-3547 and his 3 year old daughter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 26/01/2007 at 1600 hrs near Karavali Circle Kankanady Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-K-5597 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Shoukath Ali a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 20/01/2007 at 1500 hrs on NH-17 near Tharethota Nanthoor Mangalore one unknown driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-16-A-1854 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Mini Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-6768 driven by one Sundara. Further Lorry driver lost control over his vehicle and dashed against Eicher Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-9575. As a result Mini Tempo driver Sundara and Prashanth Bhat R/o Mannagudde Mangalore who was travelling in the mini Tempo sustained simple injuries and both the vehicles got damaged. The Lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 30/01/2007 at 1830 hrs near Kankanady Mangalore Taluk one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-4502 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Cheluvayya a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 30/01/2007 at 1830 hrs near Mittabagilu Jalsoor village one Venkataramana Acharya (47) rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-2662 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Puttama (65) w/o Balanna Nair R/o Jalsur village Sullia a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.

On 29/01/2007 at 2145 hrs near bus stand at Adka Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk accused Bhavathesh, Shailesh and Udaya Kumar assaulted one Dhananjaya (28) R/o Uchila Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk with wooden stick, sword and attempted to kill him owing to personal enmity.

On 30/01/2007 at 1345 hrs one Hanumantharaya R/o Chowdeshwari Nagara Bangalore attempted to commit suicide by cutting his neck with a knife owing to personal problem. He has been admitted to hospital at Mangalore for treatment.
