In between 24/12/2006 at 000 hrs and 26/12/2006 at 1900 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-425 belonging to one Robert Lobo (42) R/o Dupada Katte Karkala Taluk that was parked at parking place near Akbar complex Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.
- A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 20/12/2006 in between 1930 hrs and 1945 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendour motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-8511 belonging to one Abubakkar Siddique (23) R/o K.C Nagar Talapady Mangalore Taluk that was parked at a public place near Juice junction Balmatta Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

No. KA-19-V-9454 belonging to one Shreekanth Shetty (20) R/o Jeppina Mogeru Mangalore Taluk that was parked at public place near Kankanady Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 48,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 30/12/2006 at 2015 hrs at Konalu Town one Manohar driver of Goods Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-13-8090 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bajaj M-80 motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider Raju Poojary and pillion rider Mathew A.T. sustained serious injuries. Further Mathew A.T. succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 30/12/2006 at 1515 hrs near Kodimbady bus stand Kodimbady village one Thimmanna Bhat rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-8862 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Somappa Shetty (68) R/o Netla Mudnur village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Uppinangady Police Station. On 24/12/2006 at 0400 hrs at Nelyadi village Puttur Taluk one Machendra driver of Lorry bearing Reg.No.KA-16-A-3649 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due to which Venkatesh (32) a cleaner of said Lorry and another co-driver of said lorry were thrown out of the lorry and sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 30/12/2006 at 0700 hrs at Kadola Shiradi village one Sundhara Gowda driver of Lorry bearing Reg.No.KA-19-B-6211 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg.No.KA-18-M-2144 driven by one Shayam Prasad (37). As a result the car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 30/12/2006 at 1600 hrs at Soorikumeru Mani village one Vajeeth driver of car bearing Reg. No.KA-19-P-2733 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider Sathish Acharya and pillion rider Jagadish Achariya R/o Vothethuru Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

- A case f Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Ganesh Bhandary (40) R/o Jodustana Dharmastala village committed suicide by hanging on 30/12/2006 at 2330 hrs in his house owing to personal problem.
