- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 13/12/2006 at 0345 hrs on NH17 near Daddalkad Junction Mangalore one driver of a Pickup van bearing Reg. No. KA-14-A-1858 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Alto car bearing Reg. No. KL-18-C-7615. As a result the driver of Maruti car Ibrahim N.B. (53) R/o Kuttiyadi Kerala State, driver of pickup and a passenger in the said pickup sustained simple injuries and both vehicles got damaged.

The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-9804 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Rameshan (36) R/o Mullakodi post Kannur district who was travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injures.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 13/12/2006 at 1600 hrs at Kavu Madnoor village Puttur Taluk one Manoj Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5813 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle got damaged. No casualties reported.

On 13/12/2006 at 2130 hrs accused Karpuswami, Subramani, Kumara and other two persons forming into an unlawful assembly entered into the Friends Bar at Mudushedde Road Mangalore and damaged the showcase, and abused the inmates Prabhakara and others in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with sharp weapons. Motive seems to be dispute over payment bill amount. The damage caused is Rs. 10,000/.

On 13/12/2006 at 2200 hrs at Dhakke Mangalore Taluk accused Chandrashekar, Nagesh, Ganesh, Ravi, Krishna and others forming into unlawful an assembly entered into the Boat belonging to one Mohammed Basheer (50) R/o Jeppu Mangalore and abused the driver of the said boat Prabhakara and others who were in the boat in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with sharp objects owing to dispute over payment of bill amount in their hotel Friends Bar.
