On 23/12/2006 in between 1830 hrs and 1850 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendour motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-3154 belonging to one Kiran Rai R/o Mangala Nagar Mangalore that was parked near State Bank Hamilton Circle Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 21,000/.

- A case under Hurt, Cruelty by relatives of husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of one Rashmi (25) W/o Hansaraja R/o Bolara Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that the mother-in-law and brother-in-law of the complainant gave physical and mental harassment to Rashmi and also assaulted her by hand to bring more dowry and also gave life threat to her.
