On 12/12/2006 at 1500 hrs accused Thammu and his wife Devaki abused Appi (40) R/o Bappalige Singane Puttur Town in filthy language near her house and assaulted her by hand and with wooden stick. The motive seems to be that Appi had earlier lodged a complaint against them in Puttur Town Police Station.

On 14/12/2006 at 1000 hrs one Neelakhanta (28) R/o Korafut District Orissa State accidentally fell down and got injured while working near Ichilampady Bridge at Noojibalthila village. He was admitted to Govt hospital Kadaba where he was declared dead while under treatment.
