• A case of Burglary has registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 03/08/2007 at 0030 hrs and 04/08/2007 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Yashin Begh (47) R/o Kademoger Talapady village Mangalore Taluk by bending the window grills and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 3,000/ all in worth Rs. Rs. 23,000/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

• A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 07/08/2007 in between 2000 hrs and 2115 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Suzuki motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-9877 belonging to one Lakshmipathi K. (44) R/o Karangalpady Mangalore that was parked near his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 15,000/.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Outraging the modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 02/08/2007 at 1530 hrs accused Mohammed and Ashraf came in a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4465 and criminally restrained one Jayalakshmi (21) R/o Kalanja village Sullia Taluk near Kajemoole Kalanja village Sullia Taluk and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/08/2007 at 1055 hrs near St. Agnes at Mangalore one Vamana Rao (75) R/o Kankanady Mangalore while getting into the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4778, one Alwyn Lobo driver of said bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Cheating along with Forgery has been registered in Bajpe Police Station on the complaint of one H. Devadiga, Inspector Co-operative Societies Mangalore. It is alleged in the complaint that one Indira while she was working as Director of Mijaru Vyvasaya Seva Sanga between the years 1999 and 2007 forged the documents and cheated the Bank to the tune of Rs. 1,64,722/.
  
• A case of Cheating along with Forgery has been registered in Bajpe Police Station on the complaint of one H. Devadiga, Inspector Co-operative Societies Mangalore. It is alleged in the complaint that one Damodara while he was working as Director of Mijaru Primary Vyvasaya Seva Sanga between the years 2001 and 2003 forged the documents and cheated the Bank to the tune of Rs. 5,39,301/.
  
• A case under Cheating has been registered in Sullia Police Station on the complaint of one Aziz S.B. (30) R/o Berike Ivathur village Puttur Taluk It is alleged in the complaint that accused Rafique and Nazir took Rs. 4,200/ from Aziz S.B. for supplying a Grinder and cheated the complaint by not supplying the Grinder.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 03/08/2007 at 0900 hrs accused Sharath Kumar, Kanthappa and Shekara abused one Musthafa R/o at Moorugoli Bharya village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand owing trivial issue.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 01/08/2007 at 1800 hrs at Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk accused Madhava Poojary and Naveen Poojary abused one Shivashankara Reddy (28) R/o Narikombu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 04

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 02/08/2007 at 1200 hrs one Chinnayya Acharya (75) R/o Kuduru Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into the pound near his house and died due to drawing.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 03/08/2007 at 1600 hrs one Sanjeeva Poojary (26) R/o Suntla Padav Nidyodi village Belthangady Taluk fell ill at his relatives house at Venoor village Belthangady Taluk and he was admitted to hospital at Belthangady where he was declared dead while under treatment.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/08/2007 one unknown male person aged about 30 yrs to 35 yrs committed suicide by hanging in his room at Vishali Lodge Dharmasthala Belthangady Taluk.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/08/2007 at 1200 hrs one Narayana Achari (70) developed chest pain while working near APMC at Belthangady. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Belthangady where he declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. One Abdul Hakeem (16) R/o Soorulimoole Nettanige Mundoor village Puttur Taluk left his house on 02/08/2007 at 0700 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
