- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 26/08/2007 at 1930 hrs at Ladyhill Mangalore one Shiju driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7028 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-3338 driven by one Kiran Prabhu (26) R/o Matadakani Mangalore. Further auto rickshaw rider lost control over his vehicle due to which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Maruti car and auto rickshaw got damaged. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 1700 hrs at Kesarugadde Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk one Vasu rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-25-E-3386 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against a telephone pole. As a result Vasu rider of scooter, pillion rider of said scooter Rathna (40) R/o Shanthinagara Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk and her daughter sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 26/08/2007 at 1700 hrs at B.C. road junction at Bantwal Town one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-295 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abishek (110 R/o Sajeepamunnur village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 2000 hrs while Santhosh (17) and Krishna (40) residents of Kepula village Puttur Taluk were unloading the Marbles from the lorry KA-19-A-923 at Kepula Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk accused one Ishamil @ Rasid driver of the said lorry moved the lorry negligently due which marbles fell over Santhosh and Krishna sustained grievous injures.

On 26/08/2007 at 1415 hrs at Parivarakana Kallumuttu Sullia Town one Jattipalla Raja driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9745 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Dhananjaya (41) R/o Beeramangala Sullia Town who was travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 26/08/2007 at 1915 hrs accused one Sarfuddin criminally restrained one Lokesh (20) R/o Kallumundlu Sullia Town near his house and assaulted him with punch and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 2230 hrs accused Nagaraja driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-26-3830 and 3 other persons stopped lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-14-B-8866 at the premise of NMPT Panambur Mangalore and abused one Neelappa (35) R/o Kunjathabail Mangalore driver of lorry and assaulted him with iron article.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 26/08/2007 at 1315 hrs on credible information PSI Belthangady PS along with staff conducted a raid on a small shed at Bandyaru Padangadi village Belthangady Taluk belonging to Maxium Carsta (50) and seized 1,600 illegal arrack sachets (each 100 ml) by arresting on Maxium Carsta that was kept for sale. The total value of seized property is worth Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 20/08/2007 at 2000 hrs and 27/08/2007 at 0600 hrs one Bosthium Thoras @ Charles Thoras (58) R/o Chikamudnur village Puttur taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
