• A case under Burglary has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On the intervening night of 18-19/08/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Vishnumoorthy Temple at Ajjibettu village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of copper Pooja articles and cash Rs. 300/ all in worth Rs. 1,300/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 18/08/2007 at 2000 hrs near Petrol pump at Bajpe Town Mangalore Taluk one Mujubu Rahiman driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-60-26 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Raghavendra (14) R/o Bajpe Town Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 19/08/2007 at 2000 hrs at Annalike Koila village Bantwal Taluk one Ananda Poojary driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8172 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rifayi (42) R/o Kumpanamajalu Pudu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 19/08/2007 at 1900 hrs at Marigudi Belthangady Town one Fredrik Pinto driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-11-M-2345 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against motorcycle bearing Reg. No. MEC-8602. As a result motorcycle rider Prasad (24) R/o Belthangady Town and pillion rider of said motorcycle Sandesh sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, House trespass, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 17/08/2007 at 2030 hrs accused Farooque, Shoukath, Shareef R/o Madaka, Izaz R/o Subashnagara and other 6 persons came in two auto rickshaws and forming into an unlawful assembly and stopped an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1500 at Kinya Mangalore Taluk and dragged out one Abdul Rahiman (28) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk the driver of said auto rickshaw and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick. Further accused criminally trespassed into his relatives house at Kinya Mangalore Taluk and assaulted one Latheef with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them owing to personal enmity.

• A case under Hurt has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 19/08/2007 at 1715 hrs at Kumpala Bypass Mangalore Taluk accused one Kasim R/o Kumpala Mangalore Taluk assaulted one Issaq M.S. (33) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk with cold drink bottle owing to previous enmity.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 19/08/2007 at 0530 hrs one Paul Cutinha (65) R/o Ganjimutta Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near his house while taking water from the well and died due to drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 19/08/2007 at 1200 hrs one Ibrahim (32) R/o Addur village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the Palguni river while walking near his house and died due to drowning.
