• A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 01/08/2007 and 07/08/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Kalpana R/o Belalu Ujire village Belthangady Taluk by breaking backside door lock and committed theft a TV, a Grinder and a Pump (0.5 HP) that was fixed to the well. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 18,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On the night of 07/08/2007 accused Sheenappa Gowda and Thimmappa Gowda both residence of Cherekallu village committed theft of Rubber sheets (50 Nos) from the shed belonging to one Thimmappa Gowda K.R. (34) R/o Devachalla village Sullia Taluk. The total worth of stolen property is worth Rs. 2,500/.

• A case of MV theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the intervening night of 07-08/08/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-5197 belonging to one Giri Prasad (32) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in front of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.
  
• A case of MV theft has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 07/08/2007 in between 1930 hrs and 1945 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-676 belonging to one Rajesh Kumar Sanil (28) R/o Hejamadi village Udupi District that was parked near Mulki bus stand Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 40,000/.

• A case under Cruelty by husband along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station on the complaint of one Nafisathul Nishav w/o Zakhir K.M. R/o Darbe Puttur Town. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Zakhir K.M. (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Nafisathul Nishav to bring more dowry.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 07/08/2007 at 1840 hrs near Jeppu market Mangalore one Jayananda rider of Scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-9842 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Bhumika (09) R/o Arekere Jeppu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 06/08/2007 at 1945 hrs at Parliya cross Bantwal Town one Abdul Satthar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4656 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Adam (45) R/o Nandara bettu Bantwal Town a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 08/08/2007 at 1200 hrs at Akash Bhavan Kavoor Mangalore accused Praveen R/o Akash Bhavana Kavoor Mangalore Taluk and his wife Mamatha abused his brother one Naveen (33) R/o Pachchanadi village Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to family dispute.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 08/08/2007 at 1100 hrs near High school at Alankaru village Puttur Taluk accused Sheshappa Ajila (28), his wife Veena and Chandrahasa abused one Anatha Ajila (33) R/o Perabe village Putur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 08/08/2007 at 1100 hrs near High school at Alankaru village Puttur Taluk accused one Anatha Ajila abused Sheshappa Ajila (28) R/o Alankaru village Putur Taluk and his wife Veena in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 08/08/2007 hrs on credible information PSI Sullai PS along with staff intercepted two motorcycles and seized 83 liquor bottles (each 180 ml) of worth Rs. 2,230/, and motorcycles by arresting Sachidananda (26) R/o Kasargod District and Sandeep (18) R/o Ubaradka Sullai Taluk who were being transporting these liquor bottles illegally in their motorcycles. The total worth of seized property is worth Rs. 42,230/.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 08/08/2007 at 1130 one Ananda Mugera (26) R/o Anemajalu Bannur village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by jumping in to the well near his house owing to health problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 09/08/2007 in between 0815 hrs and 0930 hrs one Kamalakshi (35) R/o Alankaru village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond while walking near her house and died due to drowning.

Missing Persons: 03

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Prithika (20) R/o Adka Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk left her house on 07/08/2007 at 0830 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.

• A case of Woman missing has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. One Yamuna @ Janaki (48) R/o Uruvalu Village Belthangady Taluk left her house on 06/08/2007 at 0830 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.

• A case of Man missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Rangappa Gowda J.P. (50) R/o Goonadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk left his house on 06/08/2007 at 1230 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
