• A case under Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 10/08/2007 at 2100 hrs and 11/08/2007 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Harsha Shop at K. S. Rao road Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of 95 Mobile phones. The total value of stolen property is worth Rs. 7,69,857/.

• A case under Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 0900 hrs accused Abdul Raheman, Bhaskara, Dayananda and another one assaulted Shantheri Bhai R/o Panemangalore Bantwal Taluk and her husband Subraya Bhat by hand with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 1000 hrs near Chakrapani Temple at Attavara Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-4707 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-1618. As a result motorcycle rider Narendra Prakash Rayee (21) R/o Kaprigudde Mangalore Taluk and pillion rider of said motorcycle Shashank sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 09/08/2007 at 1730 hrs at Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-862 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Hajira R/o Maripalla Pudu village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injures.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 0845 hrs at Kalldka Bantwal Taluk accused Rajesh and Karunakara came in a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA- 19-E-2510 and abused Thowsif (18) R/o Kalladka Bantwal Taluk and assaulted him with stone.
  
• A case under House trespass Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 1800 hrs accused Harish Rai Kolthige village Puttur Taluk criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Ishwara Naik (45) R/o Ardhamoole Panaje village Puttur Taluk and abused him and his daughter in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 2000 hrs acused one Balakrishna Maniyani criminally restrained one Ramesha (28) R/o Iranthanthamajalu Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk near Belanthimarugadde at Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity between them.

• A case under Criminal trespass, Mischief of causing damage along with Theft has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 0900 hrs accused Malli owner of Abhiman Constructions and his workers criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Prabhakara N. Kamath R/o Chilimbi Mangalore at Bondel Padushedde village Mangalore Taluk and damaged the land and also stolen the fence wire.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 07/08/2007 at 1300 hrs one Ramanna Moolya R/o Pernadka Macchina village Belthangady Taluk sustained serious injuries while working near his house. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore and there while under treatment he succumbed to his injuries on 11/08/2007 at 1830 hrs.
