• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 08/08/2007 at 2300 hrs at Kulshekar Mangalore one Raghava T. driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9146 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ananda Gowda (23) R/o Udane Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 08/08/2007 at 1100 hrs near Kaikamba Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk one Rathnakara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-853 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Halid (39) R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 09/08/2007 at 1545 hrs at Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Badruddin driver of Pick Up vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-542 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-1315. As a result both the vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 09/08/2007 at 1545 hrs at Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk one Shravan driver of 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. TN-23-D-1387 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3121. As a result motorcycle rider one Nithyananda Shetty sustained grievous injuries.

On 09/08/2007 at 2200 hrs at accused Ravi (28) R/o Sakleshpura Taluk Hassan District abused one Bachu R/o Kodambettu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wooden stool owing to family dispute.
