• A case of Burglary has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 23/08/2007 in between 0830 hrs and 1130 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Yamuna (24) R/o Mannagudda Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 5,000/ all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Criminal intimidation along with intending to insult the modesty of woman (sec 509 IPC) has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 1500 hrs accused Lawrence criminally restrained one Prathima (45) R/o Monkey stand Mangalore near her house and abused her in filthy language and tried to insult her modesty and also gave life threat to her and her husband.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 0630 hrs near KPT Mangalore one Safwan driver of Maruti Zen car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-MA-6423 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sirajuddin a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 1030 hrs on NH 17 at Thokkottu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8259 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a goods Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7067. Due which Tempo driver lost control over is vehicle and rammed to a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-25-M-7744 driven by one Praven K (24) R/o Munnu village Mangalore Taluk. As a result Ravi Milton Pinto driver of said goods Tempo sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 1615 hrs at Ganjimutt Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Arun Ivan Crastha driver of Maruti omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2305 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1457. As a result Nasik rider of motorcycle, Asif pillion rider of said motorcycle and Narayana Poojary who was travelling in the Maruti car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 1830 hrs at Aliyur Shirthadi village Mangalore one Shubhakara driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2107 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-513. As a result motorcycle rider Santhosh (20) R/o Aliyur Valpady village Mangalore Taluk and Sudesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 25/08/2007 at 0630 hrs near Koyla farm at Koyla village Puttur Taluk one Shoukath driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-4449 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Mohammed Ashraf (23) R/o Attur village Puttur Taluk and Saifuddin who were travelling in the said jeep sustained simple injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1000 hrs one Sulochana (45) R/o Bagambila Kumpala village Mangalore Taluk attempted to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on herself owing to personal problem. She got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 25/08/2007 at 1100 hrs.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 25/08/2007 in between 0800 hrs and 1230 hrs one Revathi (23) R/o Perlampady Kolthige village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into a well near her house while taking water from the well and died due to drowning.
