• A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. In between 21/08/2007 at 1445 hrs and 22/08/2007 at 0915 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into Anganavadi at Kukkaje Badannur village Puttur Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed theft food items and cash Rs. 100/. The worth of stolen property is Rs. Rs. 600/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1545 hrs near PVS junction at Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6775 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4301. As a result one Azeez (26) R/o Kudroli Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4301 sustained simple injuries. The other motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 21/08/2007 at 1500 hrs near Hamilton Circle at Mangalore one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-9734 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Manoj (25) R/o Santhoshnagara R/o Munnur Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said tempo was thrown out of the tempo and sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 21/08/2007 at 1300 hrs at Kablapadavu Pajeeru village Mangalore Taluk one Shareef driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KA-34-1374 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-7409. As a result one Abdul Latheef (24) R/o Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 0715 hrs on NH 48 at Mitthabail Bantwal Taluk one Mohan Kumar driver of KSRTC Volvo bus bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-8338 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-M-7789. As a result car driver Sanjeeva Poojary (43) R/o Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk and other passenger who were travelling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1230 hrs on NH 48 at Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk one Purandara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-18 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5922. As a result Vasantha Banninthaya R/o Ananthadi village driver of Maruti Omni car and Annu Poojary who was travelling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

On 21/08/2007 at 2100 hrs at Votemoole Kodipadi village Puttur Taluk one Giridhara rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-1817 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Seshappa K. (47) R/o Kula village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 21/08/2007 at 1630 hrs at Bedrodi Bajathur village Puttur Taluk one Vinaya driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3954 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Chidananda (20) R/o Valalu Bajathur village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1130 hrs near Poonjalkatte hospital at Pilathabettu Bantwal Taluk one Shivarama Attaje driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-M-48 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2026. As a result driver of jeep Shivarama Attaje sustained simple injuries and both the vehicles got damaged.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1945 hrs accused Harish, Ganesh, Himakara and 6 other persons forming into an unlawful assembly near bus shelter at Baikampady Mangalore and criminally restrained one Damodhara Shetty (29) R/o Devu Katte Mangalore Taluk and his friends and assaulted him with by hand also gave life threat to him owing to personal enmity.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 0800 hrs at Achari Palke Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk accused one Vasantha Gowda criminally restrained one Lakshmi Narayana R/o Panjikallu village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stick and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.
  
• A case under Hurt has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1945 hrs accused Ashoka, Bhaskara and Udaya assaulted one Krishna Maniyani R/o Arlapadavu Panaje village Puttur Taluk by hand and with wooden stick owing near his house owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 21/08/2007 in between 0330 hrs and 0500 hrs one Vijatha (14) R/o Kumpala Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into the pond near her house owing to personal problem and died due to drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 21/08/2007 at 0800 hrs and 22/08/2007 at 0700 hrs one Sumanaji (64) R/o Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by jumping into pond at Hamerykatte Moodumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk owing to health problem and died due to drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1600 hrs one Amrutha Pais (01) R/o Bendrala village Kemminje village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond near his house and died due to drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 22/08/2007 at 1600 hrs one Ponnayya V. (65) R/o Kolthige village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. One Venkappa Poojary (52) R/o Malabe Sarapady village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison near his house owing to health problem.
