• A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 14/08/2007 at 1700 hrs and 15/08/2007 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into DKZP School at Ajjibettu Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 5,000/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

• A case under Attempt Theft has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 01/08/2007 and 15/08/2007 at 1415 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Sharma K. P. R/o Ajjibettu Bantwal Town by breaking the window glass and attempted to commit theft.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 14/08/2007 at 1930 hrs at Bejai Museum Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6176 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Monthu R/o Bejai Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 15/08/2007 at 1445 hrs at Punaroor Thalipady village Mangalore Taluk one Prabhakara driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-239 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Issaq (06) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 15/08/2007 at 1030 hrs at Bettampady Puttur Taluk one Ibrahim driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-3732 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Abdul Razak and Mohammed Shakeer who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Wrongful confinement, Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty along with Attempt to murder has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 15/08/2007 at 1415 hrs accused Nooru @ Nooruddin, Maduru Nazir, Wahab and 5 other persons forming into an unlawful assembly and abused the policemen Vasu Naik, Ashok Kumar and Thomas in filthy language and also assaulted them with cold drink bottles and tried to kill them while they are on duty near Cellar bar at Parangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk .

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/08/2007 at 1000 hrs at Arasinamakki Hathyadka Belthangady Taluk accused Pudiya @ Subraya abused one Lakshmana Gowda (34) R/o Arasinamakki Hathyadka in filthy language and assaulted him with sickle owing to financial issue.

• A case under Concealment of birth by secret disposal of dead body has been registered in Subramanya Police Station on the complaint of one Dayananda R/o Subramanya. In the complaint it is alleged that on 15/08/2007 at 1200 hrs some unknown persons disposed dead body of a child near Kaludi Yenekallu village Sullia Taluk.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 15/08/2007 at 1500 hrs one Pallavi (11) R/o Voladi Shanthigodu Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond near her house while taking water from pound and died to drowning.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Man Missing has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 14/08/2007 at 1430 hrs one Raju (23) R/o Kommanal village Shimoga Taluk accidentally slipped into Kumaradara river and while taking bath and found missing. His body has also not been traced so far.
