Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 10/08/2007 at 0600 hrs at Industrial area Baikampady Mangalore one Chatradhari driver of 407 Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-74 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and dashed against an iron pole. As a result one Manjunatha (26) cleaner of the said Tempo sustained serious injuries. Further he was admitted the A.J. hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment under same day at 1440 hrs.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 09/08/2007 at 1330 hrs near Shaneeshwara Temple at Bajpe Mangalore Taluk one Suresh Naik driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7910 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Moidden Saheb R/o Bhatrakere Bajpe village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

• A case under Indian Arms Act has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 10/07/2007 at 1730 hrs on credible information PSI Kadaba PS along with his staff conducted a raid on house belonging to one Perappa Gowda (37) R/o Kombaru village Puttur Taluk and seized a Local Made Gun that was kept illegally there by arresting Perappa Gowda and Ramesh Gowda.
• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 11/08/2007 at 0600 hrs on credible information PSI (I/C) Uppinangady PS along with staff intercepted a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-20-M-3124 at Arasinamakki Hathyadka village Belthangady Taluk and seized 480 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 14,300/ and cash Rs. 3,095/ being transported illegally by arresting Narayana Gowda, Manoj and Sundara. The Jeep has also been seized. The total value of property seized is worth Rs. 1,17,395/.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station where in the dead body of Rangappa Gowda J. P. (47) R/o Goonadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk has been found near open bridge at Darkasthu Sampaje village Sullia Taluk. The said Rangappa Gowda J. P. (47) was reported missing from Sullia PS since 06/08/2007 and in this connection a case of Man missing was already registered at Sullia PS. The death seems to be due drowning.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. One Jarappa Moolya (56) R/o Bantwal Town left his house on 10/08/2007 at 1200 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
