• A case under House trespass along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 21/08/2007 at 2130 hrs accused one Raja R/o Dasaramoole Konaje village Mangalore Taluk criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Khathijamma (55) R/o Kallugudde Konaje village Mangalore Taluk and abused her and her son Lathif in filthy language and also gave life threat to them.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/08/2007 at 0930 hrs near Mangaladevi Temple at Mangalore one driver of Alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7017 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-E-6342. As a result one Nazir Khan (34) R/o Kuttarpadavu Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 24/08/2007 at 1045 hrs on NH 17 at Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one Mohandas Rai driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-9990 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Farooque U.H. (39) R/o Beeri Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 23/08/2007 at 1730 hrs on NH 17 at Thokkottu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Jamala A.M. rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5725 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Razaq R/o Montepadavu Manjanadi village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 24/08/2007 at 0900 hrs at Nayeedaguri Yekkaru village Mangalore Taluk one Udaya Kumar driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-8736 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Joythi who was travelling in the said tempo sustained grievous injuries. Further Suresh M.S. (42) R/o Madya Chellaru Surathkal and 15 other students of Govt. High school Chellaru who were travelling in the said tempo sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 23/08/2007 at 0815 hrs near Paper mills at Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Mahaganesh bus drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bicycle from behind. As a result bicycle rider one Dombayya Poojary (55) R/o Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

Cheating/ Criminal Breach of Trust: 01

• A case under sec. 4 (1) (A) and sec. 9, 21, (1) (2) (3) (4) 23 and 24 MM (R.D) 1957 and 468, 471, 379, 420 IPC has been registered in Surathkal Police Station on the complaint of Mr. Shekarappa Geologist Mines and Geology Dept. On 22/08/2007 in between 0600 hrs and 1330 hrs he along with staff while on duty at Mukka check post found 11 Lorries transporting iron ore form Hospet to Mangalore with duplicate permits. Thus he has lodged this complaint and handed over the lorries with goods and documents to Surathkal PS who are conducting further investigation.

Attempt to Murder: 01

• A case under Hurt, Criminal intimidation along with Attempt to Murder has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 24/08/2007 at 1530 hrs at Kalleri Haleneraki village Puttur Taluk accused one Praveen Devadiga assaulted Sathish Devadiga (38) R/o Haleneraki village Puttur Taluk and his daughter Kanchana (17) with cold drink bottle and tried to kill them owing to financial issue.

• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 23/08/2007 at 2000 hrs accused Narayana and 3 others criminally restrained one Podiya (45) R/o Nelluru Kemraje village Sullia Taluk at Barethota Kemraje village Sullia Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 24/08/2007 at 1400 hrs at Kolchar Aletti village Sullia Taluk one Babu Naik R/o Kolcharu Aletti village Sullia Taluk assaulted one Sundara Gowda (37) R/o Nadugallu village Sullia Taluk with knife owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 24/08/2007 at 1130 hrs one Sundara Gowda (55) R/o Balaka Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison near his house owing to health problem.
