In between 15/08/2007 at 1200 hrs and 16/08/2007 at 0915 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Higher Primary School at Sulkeri Belthangady Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of various utensils belonging to Akshara Dasoha Yojane. The total value of stolen property is worth Rs. 1, 000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On the intervening night of 15-16/08/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the office room of the DKZHP School at Hantyaru Puttur Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of Tape Recorder and other items. The total value of stolen property is worth Rs. 1, 500/.

No. KA-19-F-2322 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MN-7212 driven by one Sudheer Shetty R/o Kannur Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 16/08/2007 at 2030 hrs near Karavali circle at Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-3999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No KA-19-P-674 driven by one Adithya R/o Mangalpady Kasargod district Kerala State. As a result the car got damaged. No casualties reported. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-7983 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Umaira (06) R/o Kumpanamjalu Parangipete village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

On 14/08/2007 at 1500 hrs on Biravu-Takode road at Karinje village Mangalore Taluk one Urban Govious rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5554 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Sundara pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
