• A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 30/08/2007 at 2000 hrs and 31/08/2007 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into Raj Furniture & Gift Centre at Kurnadu village Bantwal Taluk belonging to one Rajesh V Shetty (39) R/o Boliyaru village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of gold chain and cash worth Rs. 15,000/, all in worth Rs. 23,000/.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1310 hrs at Mannagudde Gurji Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-8849 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Bicycle driven by one Babu Raj (40) R/o Marigudi Urwa Mangalore and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 2100 hrs infront of T.M.A Pai Hall Kodialbail Mangalore one Durgadas driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3424 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a new motorcycle driven by one Sujir (24) R/o Tannirubahvi Panambur Mangalore. As a result both the vehicles got damaged. No casualties reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1005 hrs on NH 17 at Bangra Kulur Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-Z-1172 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-858 driven by one Shrivatsa R/o Derebailu village Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casulities reported. The driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-Z-1172 escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registrerd in Vittal Police Station. On 21/08/2007 at 0930 hrs at Kashipatna Vittal Town one Abdul Kunhi M. rider of new motorcycle drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rukhiya (27) R/o Kodipadi Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grevious injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registrerd in Puttur Town Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1830 hrs near Radhakrishna Mandira at Puttur Town one Narayana Poojary driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-2291 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which the vehicle capsiezed. As a result Lingappa Gowda (36) R/o Balnadu village Puttur Taluk and other passengers of the said jeep sustained grevious injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1845 hrs accused Prabhakara Poojary, Shashi and Ramesh abused one Udayashankara (27) R/o Preethi Nagara Dharmasthala Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with Umbrella and also gave life threat to him owing to financial issue.

• A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station. On 07/08/2007 at 1215 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Rathna (30) R/o Kana Surathkal Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place Service Bus Stand Mangalore.
  
• A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1230 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Yashoda (45) R/o Kana Surathkal Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place in front of Sri Rama Textiles at Mangalore.
  
• A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Mangalore Woman Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1245 hrs WPI of Women PS on rounds arrested one Jayamma (45) R/o Kana Surathkal Mangalore who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near Venkatesh Lodge K.S. Rao Road Mangalore.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On one Lancy Vincent Menezez (49) R/o Kannur village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house between 30/08/07 and 31/08/07 owing to personal problem in his life.
