- A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives, Dowry Prohibition Act along with Attempt to murder has been registered in Sullia Police Station on the complaint of one Shivaranjini (20) W/o Ajay Sujith R/o Kallugundi Sampaje village Suilla Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ajay Sujith (Husband) and his relatives Rosy, Akshata and Shwetha gave physical and mental harassment to Shivaranjini to bring more dowry and they also attempted to kill her by assaulting with belt.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station where in one Babu (67) R/o Pudu village Bantwal Taluk was declared dead while under treatment on 19/09/2007 at 2215 hrs. The said Babu was seriously injured by an auto rickshaw in a road traffic accident on 16/09/2007 at 1130 hrs on NH 48 at Faragipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk and admitted to the Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 19/09/2007 at 1200 hrs near Alvas Health Centre at Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. MEG-7476 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1492. As a result one Mohammed Althaf R/o Kotebagilu Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk driver of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries and auto rickshaw got damaged. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 19/09/2007 at 1450 hrs on NH 48 at Kadeshwalya Kedila village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-16-A-928 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Dhanyashree (05) D/o Narasimha R/o Kadeshwalya Kedila village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 19/09/2007 in between 1030 hrs and 1230 hrs one Felsita Thauro (47) R/o Bejai new road Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 19/09/2007 in between 2030 hrs and 2130 hrs one Harish Poojary (36) R/o Mulki Manampady village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 19/09/2007 at 0100 hrs one Neelamma (19) R/o Kunaje house Ramakunja village Puttur Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in her house owing to health problem. Further she was admitted to hospital where she was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 0330 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 19/09/2007 at 0830 hrs one Vijaya Kumar (22) R/o Shanthinagara Sullia Town committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 20/09/2007 at 0630 hrs one Unknown male person aged about 25 yrs to 30 yrs was committed suicide by hanging in his room at Vaishali Lodge at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk.
