• A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 06/09/2007 at 0700 hrs and 08/09/2007 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Kumar. B.S R/o Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 10,000/ all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 07/09/2007 at 1100 hrs and 08/09/2007 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Mohammed Shameer (21) R/o Talapady village Mangalore Taluk by bending the window grills and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 15,000/ all in worth Rs. 65,000/.

• A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of one Swapna (35) w/o Bharath Raj R/o Padavu Kaikamba Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Bharath Raj (husband) and his relatives Vajrakshi and Rajitha gave physical and mental harassment to Swapna to bring more dowry.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with Hurt has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 2355 hrs at accused Mani @ Manikya abused one Manjula R/o Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk near her house in filthy language and assaulted her with sickle and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 1345 hrs at Kadri Mangalore one Manoj driver of Milk van bearing Reg. No. KA-21-D-1717 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-9342. As a result one Naveen Kumar (28) R/o Kudmar village Puttur Taluk a pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 06/09/2007 at 1730 hrs near Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9880 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nagarathnamma R/o Kundoor Chennarayapattna Hassan district a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 07-09/2007 at 0700 hrs at Bajilarodi Hosangady village Belthangady Taluk one Shankarayya driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-31-F-977 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-6638. As a result Krishna driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-6638 sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 02/09/2007 at 1305 hrs at Badriya nagar Pavoor village Mangalore Taluk one Asif Iqbal T. H rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1585 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Rama (40) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 1630 hrs at Abbettu Meramajalu village Bantwal Taluk one Purandara driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8793 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6432. As a result Vanishree R/o Meramajalu village Bantwal Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Hurt, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace alont with criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 0730 hrs at Attavara village Mangalore accused Sheenappa Gowda (37) R/o B. V. Road Attavara Mangalore abused one Yashodhra Police Constable, Mangalore South PS in filthy language and also assaulted him by hand while he was on duty at there.

• A case under Criminal trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mulky Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 2400 hrs accused Afiz, Saifu, Javed and another person came in a Santro car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-2810 and criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Faizal (25) R/o Thokuru village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick. They also assaulted his mother who came to help Faizal owing to financial dispute.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 2045 hrs at Thotadamane Thodaru village Mangalore Taluk accused Sharif, Thahir, Suresh and another person abused one Musthak Ali (26) R/o Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with stone. They also assaulted Irshad who came to help Musthak Ali with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. In between 06/09/2007 at 1800 hrs and 07/09/2007 at 1100 hrs at Girish (25) R/o Mudigere Chickamagalore district found dead near Panjirme Muchur village Mangalore Taluk due to. The death seems to be due to snake bit.
