Burglary: 01

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 1400 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Savitha (30) R/o Mudaaikadu Beluvai village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments (29 grms) all in worth Rs. 15,000/.

• A case under House trespass, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Criminal intimidation along with sec 27 Arms Act has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 12/09/2007 accused one Ulahannan T.C. criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Thangappan N.R R/o Sampyadi Shiradi village Puttur Taluk with a gun and abused wife of Thangappan N.R in filthy language and also gave life threat to her. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

• A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 11/09/2007 at 1700 hrs on U.P. Malya road near Railway cross Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-6778 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-6652 from behind. As a result Suresh (29) R/o Sunkadakatte Mangalore rider of motorcycle and Padmanabha Saliyan pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 2030 hrs on NH-13 at Kaikamba Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Sajid Shameer rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-28-K-2033 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-287. As a result both vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 2000 hrs on Moodbidre-Shirthady road near Kukkadakatte Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk one Jorge Veleriyan Rodrigus rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-1450 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Jerold Perera pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 2100 hrs at Thumbe Bantwal Town accused Yogish, Sunil, Praveen and others abused one Iqbal (26) R/o Bantwal Town in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.

Unnatural Death Report: 04

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On the night of 12/09/2007 one Sandeep R/o Kavoor Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in his room at Prathvi Lodge at Kottara Mangalore owing to personal problem.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 12/09/2007 at 2000 hrs and 13/09/2007 one Nagesh (47) was found dead near bus stand at Baikampady Mangalore. The death seems to be due to some illness.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 13/09/2007 at 0630 hrs one Rathnavathi (18) R/o Chandalike Muddoor Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk accidentally slipped into the pound near her house while taking water from the pound and died due to drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 13/09/2007 at 1100 hrs one Gunavathi (35) R/o Jainampete Bantra Taluk Puttur Taluk consumed poison in her house owing to health problem. She was admitted to Govt. hospital at Kadaba where she declared dead while under treatment.

Missing Persons: 01

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. One Mohana Sundari (18) R/o Perlampady Kolthige village Puttur Taluk left her house on 13/09/2007 at 1000 hrs and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
