  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 07/09/2007 at 0700 hrs and 08/09/2007 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to Everest D’Souza (42) R/o Yelyarsite Abmlamogaru village Mangalore Taluk by breaking front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 5,000/ all in worth Rs. 24,000/.
  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 07/09/2007 at 0930 hrs and 08/09/2007 at 0630 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Bhajana Mandira at Yelyarpadvu Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of Brass Pooja articles and cash Rs. 5,000/ all in worth Rs. 8,000/.

  • A case under Cruelty by Husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Fouziya (20) W/o Rafique R/o Konadka Irde village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Rafique (husband) R/o Meginapete Vittal Bantwal Taluk gave physical and mental harassment to Fouziya and on 07/09/2007 he assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat her.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 07/09/2007 at 2245 hrs in front of Shagil watch works at Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one unknown vehicle driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Madhava (40) R/o Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The vehicle driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

  • A case under Forgery, Cheating along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of one Abdul Rasheed (38) R/o Alake Kudroli Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Aisamma Hasiner, Abdul Khadar, Beepathima Mohammed, Jameela Khadar, Mohammed Ashraf, Ummar Farooq, Mohammed Saleem Malar, Dompa Happs Khadar, Johara Ashrafa and Jabeena Faroque sold land belonging to Abdul Rashid to one Mohammed Saleem Malar by using forged documents and cheated him and also gave life threat to him.

  • A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 1830 hrs on credible information PSI (I/C) Vittal PS along with his staff conducted a raid on shop at Kollapadu Punacha village Bantwal Taluk and seized 46 Liquor bottles (each 180 ML) by arresting owner of the shop one Bapakunhi Beary (60) R/o Kollapadu Punacha village Bantwal Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally. However another accused Mohan Bhandary managed to escape from the scene.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 1600 hrs one Raghu (30) R/o Padadka Paduvannur village Puttur Taluk accidentally slipped into the pond while walking near his house and died due to drowning.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 0745 hrs one Vamana @ Ummappa Poojary (50) R/o Madavu Keyyur village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down from a Palm tree at Bottijalu Palthadu village Puttur Taluk while removing tody and got serious injuries and deid on the way to the hospital.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 1000 hrs one Mariyayi (65) R/o Naagapattana Aletti village Sullia Taluk attempted to commit suicide by pouring Kerosene on herself owing to personal problem. She got serious burn injuries and was admitted to Govt. hospital at Sullia where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1515 hrs.

Missing Persons: 01

  • A case of Boy missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. One Vineeth P.V. (16) R/o Charmady village Belthangady Taluk went to school on 20/08/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
