- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 15/09/2007 at 1530 hrs at Lalbagh Mangalore one Deshmand Miranda rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-R-786 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-4970 driven by one Vijith Kumar (24). As a result riders of both motorcycles sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1015 hrs near Shadimahal at Mangaladevi Mangalore Taluk one unknown Tata Indica car driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Suresh R/o Mullihithlu Mangaladevi Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1130 hrs on NH 48 at Farangipete Pudu village Bantwal Taluk one Rama driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AD-6777 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an autorickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8531 driven by one Monappa. As a result Yogisha (38) R/o Pudu village Bantwal Taluk, his wife Girija, their son Akshaya and Babu who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 15/09/2007 at 1600 hrs at Kandrapady Nalnnoor village Sullia Taluk one Ananda rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-2452 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Manamohana pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 15/09/2007 at 2000 hrs accused Sujith, Naveen and Suresh criminally restrained one Surendra Devadiga (45) R/o Amanottu Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk at Basavanakaje Padumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with cold drink bottle. They also assaulted Poovayya Devadiga who came to help one Surendra Devadiga. The motive seems to be that Surendra Deavaga’s sister had earlier lodged a complaint against accused persons.
- A case under Criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty, Mischief causing damage, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rual Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1545 hrs at Benjanapadavu cross Pudu village Bantwal Taluk accused Bharatha, Dhananjaya and other two persons abused one Mohammed Mudassir Khan (21) conductor of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2174 in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also damaged ticket-issuing machine owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1200 hrs one Valeriyan D’Mello (47) R/o Pucchamogeru village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 1800 hrs one Saroj Kushwah (20) R/o Katmadu Nepala accidentally slipped and washed away in the sea while he was playing at seashore Panambur Mangalore Taluk and died due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 15/09/2007 at 2200 hrs and 16/09/2007 at 0400 hrs one Vishwanatha (42) committed suicide by jumping into a pond near his relatives house at Biliyoor village Bantwal Taluk owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 16/09/2007 at 0800 hrs one Babu Gowda (47) R/o Shishila village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
