- A case under House trespass, Wrongful confinement, Outraging the modesty of women along with Rape has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 21/09/2007 in between 1900 hrs and 2100 hrs accused Maruthi Bhatta, Surendra Bhatta and others criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one 38 year old women at Jodukatte Kadandale Mangalore Taluk and wrongfully confined her and outraged the modesty of her by pulling her dress and also forcible raped her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 22/09/2007 at 1445 hrs on Muchuru-Nirode road at Kompadavu village Mangalore Taluk one Ronald D’Souza driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-3787 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Gouldis D’Souza (66) R/o Neerode Niddodi village Manglaore Taluk who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 22/09/2007 at 1810 hrs at Paicharu Sullia Taluk one Abubakkar driver of Maruti omni bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-5181 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-5463. As a result Balakrishna Ballal (48) R/o Beeramangala Sullia Town rider of motorcycle and his son Amruthraj pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 23/09/2007 at 1630 hrs near Panchayath office at Pilimogaru village Bantwal Taluk accused one Vittal Shetty abused Yogish Prabhu R/o Pilimogaru village Bantwal Taluk and his father in filthy language and assaulted them with wooden stick. He also assaulted Lokesha and Sadashiva by hand who came to help Yogish Prabhu and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 23/09/2007 at 2345 hrs near old bus stand at Sullia Town one Vasudeva Nayak R/o Kanthamangala Suiila Taluk absued one Praveen Nayak (36) in filthy language and assaulted him by hand. He also assaulted Santhosh who came to help Praveen Nayak and he also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 23/09/2007 at 1730 hrs on credible information PSI Bantwal Rural PS along with staff conducted on open place at Durganagara Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk and seized 60 arrack sachets (each 100 ml) of worth Rs. 840/ by arresting one Shekara Poojary (30) R/o Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk who was selling these arrack sachets illegally there.
- A case under Essential Commodities Act along with LPG regulation of Supply and Distribution order-2000 has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 23/09/2007 at 100 hrs on credible information Ibrahim Asst. Tashildhar (Food) Puttur with the assistance of Uppinangady Police conducted a raid at Padpu Bajathur village Puttur Taluk and seized 13 Gas cylinders (12 Filed, 1 Empty) that were kept illegal there by arresting Shabbir R/o Padpu Bajathoor village Puttur Taluk. However another accused Ahammed H managed to escape from the scene.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 23/09/2007 at 1430 hrs one unidentified male dead body aged about 20 yrs to 25 yrs been found in highly decomposed state in Gurupura river at Thannirubhi Mangalore. It seems to be a case of drowning.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 22/09/2007 at 1830 hrs one Venkamma (50) R/o Ikala village Mangalore Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while she was trying to light a stove in his house. Further she was admitted to the Wenlock hospital at Mangalore and there while under treatment she succumbed to his injuries on 23/09/2007 at 1610 hrs.
