In between 02/09/2007 at 2030 hrs and 03/09/2007 at 0700 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Shri Sadhashiva Temple at Ujire village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of a Brass idol and silver Pooja articles. The total worth of stolen property is Rs. 6,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 02/09/2007 at 1830 hrs at Hampankatta Mangalore one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Harish R/o Mudipu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 02/09/2007 at 2030 hrs at Ambikaroad Someshwara Mangalore Taluk one Sunil driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-5394 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Naveen Kumar H (30) R/o Kumpala Someshwara Mangalore Taluk, Jayanth S and Chethan Kumar who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-21-J-8996 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Prathima (06) R/o Subramanya village Sullia Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.

On 02/09/2007 at 2200 hrs accused Sunil Uchila, Das @ Devadas, Shailesh and Pramod came in an auto rickshaw baring Reg. No. KA-19-B-155 and criminally restrained one Deepak (23) R/o Ullal Mangalore Taluk at Beeri Kotekar village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 03/09/2007 at 1730 hrs accused one Sadiq (26) R/o Kodangai village Bantwal Taluk criminally restrained one Rahiman B.A. (45) R/o Vittal Padnur village Bantwal Taluk at Karkal Vittal Padnur village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted with sickle and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that Rahiman B.A. had earlier lodged a complaint against Sadiq in Vittal Police Station.

On 03/09/2007 at Bayambadi Kolthige village Puttur Taluk acuused Lokanatha (38) R/o Bayambadi Kolthige village Puttur Taluk assaulted one Ramakrishna (50) R/o Bayambadi Kolthige village Puttur Taluk with a sickle. The motive seems to be civil dispute between them.

The total worth of the seized property is Rs. 1,200/.

On 03/09/2007 at 1230 hrs one Vittala Gowda (36) R/o Aletti village Sullia Taluk accidentally fell while walking at Kollacharu Aletti village Sullia Taluk and he admitted to Govt. hospital at Sullia where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1315 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 03/09/2007 at 2130 hrs one Shiva Kumar (26) R/o Madappadi village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house on owing to personal problem.
