- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 03/09/2007 at 1000 hrs and 04/09/2007 at 0800 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Zeenath R/o KRS Residence Flat at Bandar Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 27,500/ all in worth Rs. 47,500/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 03/09/2007 at 2115 hrs and 04/09/2007 at 0910 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the office belonging to one Chandrashekara K. at Manjunatha Towers Mangalore and committed theft of a Computer and case files. Total worth of property stolen is around Rs.23, 000/.

- A case under Cruelty by husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Sation on the complaint of one Shashi @ Shashikala (22) R/o Ashwathapura Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Umanatha (32) (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Shashi @ Shashikala to bring more dowry.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/09/2007 at 0230 hrs at Charmady village Belthangady Taluk one Hameed driver of 407 lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-18-6588 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry fell into ditch. As a result Sheik Javed (45) R/o Kudalli Mudigere Taluk Chikkamagalore district who was travelling in the said lorry sustained serious injuries and died on the spot and Hameed driver of lorry sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 04/09/2007 at 1000 hrs at Kadri Mallikatte Mangalore one unknown driver of Maruti WagonR car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-7681 drove her vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7928 due which the auto capsized. As a result auto rickshaw driver, Mandara (16) R/o Nanthoor Mangalore and her sister Sindhoora who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1130 hrs in front of Deepika High School at Modamkapu Bantwal Town one Roshan Prem D’Souza rider of motor cycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6392 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vikas Rodrigues (14) R/o Loretto Amtadi village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 03/09/2007 at 1445 hrs one Pushparaja Shetty driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1823 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed to another car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4138, which was parked on the left side of the road on NH 48 at Mitthabailu Bantwal Taluk. As a result one Mohammed B. R/o Navoora village Bantwal Taluk driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-4138 sustained grievous injuries.

- A case under Hurt has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 03/09/2007 at 1800 hrs accused Bhujanga Shetty and Mahesh Shetty assaulted one Santhosh D’Souza (24) R/o Nelligudde Puchamugaru village Mangalore Taluk with wooden stick near his house. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Santhosh D’Souza and accused persons.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1000 hrs one Krishnappa Rao K. R/o Udraje Mudumarnadu village Mangalore Taluk consumed poison in his house owing to health problem. Further he admitted to hospital at Karkala where he was declared dead while under treatment on 04/09/2007 at 0930 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 04/09/2007 one dead body of Shridhara Gowda A. (29) R/o Alekkadi Murulya village Sullia Taluk was found in pond at in front of Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple at Puttur Town. The death seems to be a case of drowning.
