• A case of Burglary has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. In between 12/09/2007 at 1700 hrs and 13/09/2007 at 0900 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Abdul Saleem T R/o 7th Block Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk by breaking front door lock and committed theft of two gold bangles and cash. Total worth of property stolen is about Rs. 22,000/.

• A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 11/09/2007 in between 1215 hrs and 1330 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Jagadhisha Hegde (40) R/o Belthangady Town by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 700/ all in worth Rs. 3,700/.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1200 hrs at on B.C road – Bantwal road at Bantwal Town one Abdul Haneef rider of Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No.KA-19-V-9674 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abdul Khader a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further he was admitted to Highland hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to he injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2030 hrs.

• A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1445 hrs at Azanuddin road Mangalore one unknown driver of Goods Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-C-7100 while taking reverse drove negligently and dashed to a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-387 belonging to one Akthar (30) R/o Bajpe Mangalore Taluk that was parked at roadside at Azanuddin road Mangalore. As a result Maruti car got damaged. No causalities reported. The Goods Tempo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1140 hrs at Central Market road Mangalore one unknown driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8771 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sulaiman M. (40) R/o Velencia Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping her vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 10/09/2007 at 1900 hrs on Bajpe–Karamabaru road at Bajpe Town Mangalore Taluk one Hasan Bava driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2414 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Reshma (28) R/o Kenjaru village Mangalore Taluk, Rehana and Athijamma who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1130 hrs on NH 48 at Kudrebettu Balthila village Bantwal Taluk one Shameer Ahamed driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2975 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-372 As a result motorcycle rider one Vishwanatha sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/09/2006 at 2215 hrs accused Sanjeeva, Suresh, Dinesha, Purandara, Umesha and another one forming into an unlawful assembly at Vagga Kavalapadoor village Bantwal Taluk and stopped one Prasad @ Shivaprasad (20) R/o Vagga Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be personal enmity between accused persons and Prasad.

• A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 11/09/2006 at 2130 hrs accused Deeraj, Prasad, Harish and others forming into an unlawful assembly at Karinja cross Vagga Kavalapadur village Bantwal Taluk and stopped Udaya Sapalya (30) R/o Padur village Bantwal Taluk and Prabhakara and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand with wooden stick and also gave life threat to them. The motive seems to be personal enmity between accused persons and Udaya Sapalya.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1900 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with his staff conducted a raid on shop at Atyadi Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk and seized 23 Liquor bottles (each 180 ML) by arresting one Prabhakara Atyadi (46) R/o Ajjavara village Sullia Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1100 hrs one Varija (65) R/o Durganagara Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison in her house owing to health problem.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/09/2007 at 1030 hrs near Snanaghatta Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk one unknown person aged about 20 yrs to 25 yrs committed suicide by hanging owing to personal problem.
