• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 08/09/2007 at 1400 hrs on NH 48 near Mitthabail Mosque at Bantwal Taluk one Mohammed Sharief driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A -4272 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Ashraf (20) R/o Shanthiangady Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 09/09/2007 at 1730 hrs at Kepulu Chikkamudnoor village Puttur Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8530 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-1976. As a result one Purushothama Shetty (24) R/o Genasina Kumeru Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 08/09/2007 at 1630 hrs at Verladakere Kuttrapady village Puttur Taluk accused Abbas (45) R/o Kuttrapady village Puttur Taluk abused one Vargees K. K. (37) R/o Kuttrapady village Puttur Taluk and assaulted him with sickle owing civil dispute.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 08/09/2007 at 1930 hrs and 09/09/2007 at 0730 hrs one Vishwanatha (55) R/o Baajinadka Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk accidentally slipped and washed away in a small cannel while walking near his house and died due to drowning.
  
• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 09/09/2007 at 1600 hrs one Bharath (49) R/o Shanthinagar Sullia Town was found dead in his house. The death seems to be due to some illness.
