• A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 04/09/2007 at 1300 hrs and 05/09/2007 at 1230 hrs some unknown culprits gained into the house belonging to one Mohammed Rafique (37) R/o Gramachavadi Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 7,000/ all in worth Rs. 1,20,000/.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 05/09/2007 at 0840 hrs at Kotepadavu Harekala village Mangalore Taluk one Rafique driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE- 8313 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7906. As a result Jethendra R/o Pavoor village Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries and pillion rider of said motorcycle his wife Nishitha (22) sustained grievous injuries. Further Nishitha admitted to K.S. Hegde hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on same day at 0900 hrs.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/09/2007 at 2130 hrs at Kalpane Kulashekara Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2076 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Arun Kumar (30) R/o Shaktinagar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 03/09/2007 at 1915 hrs at Thokkottu Peramannur village Mangalore Taluk one Thukarama rider of Activa Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1851 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-8404. As a result rider of motorcycle one Anith Shetty (26) R/o Beeri Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 04/09/2007 at 1915 hrs near Kuttaru junction at Munnur village Mangalore Taluk one Muthalef driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-2652 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Kunchppa (40) R/o Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 05/09/2007 at 0200 hrs at Thakode Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk one Abdul Razak driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KL-14-C-1189 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Pushparaj Shetty (37) R/o Panjimogaru village Mangalore Taluk, Jagadeesh and Ravindra who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 04/09/2007 at 1815 hrs at Nisargadhama Moodushede Mangalore one Karthik rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-3159 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4268. As a result auto rickshaw driver Prakash (26) R/o Kulashekar Mangalore Taluk, Chandrashekara and his wife who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider Karthik also sustained simple injuries.

• A case under Criminal restriant, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 05/09/2007 at 0930 hrs accused Arun Criminally restrianed one Vikram near old Bustand at Hampankatte Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 05/09/2007 in between 0900 hrs and 1030 hrs one Madusudhan (31) R/o Pakshikere Mulki Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by consuming poison near Light house Tower at Surathkal Mangalore owing to health problem.

Missing Persons: 02

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Ranju S. (18) student of Pandya Raja Ballal Nursing College Ullal Mangalore Taluk who left her hostel on 04/09/2007 at 1630 and did not return to her hostel there after. She has been found missing then.

• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. One Jiveetha (17) R/o Mogaveerapatna Ullal Mangalore Taluk left her house on 03/09/2007 at 1030 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing then.
