On 11/09/2007 at 1600 hrs on cridible information ASI Subramanya PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Kandrappady Madadagudde Devachalla village Sullia Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 06 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 1,820/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Krishnappa, Mahabala and Achutha Gowda who were indulging in gambling. However Pittar Chandra, Sitharama Kumbara and Prameshwara managed to escape from the place.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Subramanya PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.
