- A case of Burglary has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 15/09/2007 in between 1100 hrs and 1400 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shanthamma (49) R/o Paddadka Nelyady village Puttur Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 33,500/ all in worth Rs. 51, 500/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 15/09/2007 at 1915 hrs near Akashwani at Kadri Mangalore one Dilip @ Achutha driver of Maruti 800 car bearing Reg. No. CRQ-7000 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a TVS Scooty scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-7045 from behind. As a result scooter rider Vijayalakshmi, pillion riders of said scooter Lakshminarayana K. Nayak (46) Mankystand Mangalore and his son Nagesh (07) sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 15/09/2007 at 0930 hrs on M.G. Road near Empire building at Mangalore one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-7512 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-882. Further auto rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Swapna Putran (24) R/o Hoige bazaar Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 14/09/2007 at 1730 hrs at Thowdugoli cross Manjanady village Mangalore one Sudhakara rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-6870 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Raghava Kulal (40) R/o Hoohakuva Kallu Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

- A case under sec. 4 (10) (A) and sec. 9, 21, (1) (2) (3) (4) 23 and 24 MM (R.D) 1957 along with 379 IPC has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 15/09/2007 at 1630 hrs PI Surathkal while on his rounds along with his staff near NITK beach Surthakal Mangalore found accused Mayyeddi (62) R/o Kalipalla vilalge Mangalore, Hasanabba (48) R/o Idya village Mangalore and Ibrahim C.K. (52) R/o Bannur Puttur Taluk loading sand in a lorry bearing KA-19-5899 from seashore without any proper documents. Further all the three persons have been arrested and lorry has been seized.
