• A case under of MV Theft has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On the intervening of 05-06/09/2007 some unknown culprits committed theft of a LML motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-4113 belonging to one Rohithashwa (26) R/o Pambethadi village Sullia Taluk that was parked at Pallody Panja Ivathokllu village Sullia Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 35,000/.

Crime against Women: 02

• A case under Cruelty by Husband and his relatives along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station on the complaint of one Shrilatha (21) R/o Kalpane Kankanady Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Muralikrishna K. (husband) and his relatives K.V.N. Acharya, Srinivas Kumar K., Ramaravi and Vijayalakshmi gave physical and mental harassment to Shrilatha to bring more dowry.
  
• A case under Cruelty by Husband along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station on the complaint of one Zohara (22) R/o Kedila village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Ashraf (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to Zohara to bring more dowry.

Fatal: 01

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station where in one Nasik Ahamed (21) was declared dead while under treatment on 06/09/2007 at 0110 hrs. The said Nasik Ahamed was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 25/08/2007 at 1615 hrs at Ganjimtta Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to Tejaswini hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case of road traffic accident was already registered in Bajpe Police Station.

Non-Fatal: 02

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 05/09/2007 at 1915 hrs near K.P.T. at Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Umesh K. Rao (45) R/o Yeyyadi Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 05/09/2007 at 2050 hrs near Wenlock Hospital at Mangalore one unknown rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-4979 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vijaya Kumar (67) R/o Panambur Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

• A case under Criminal restriant, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 06/09/2007 at 0830 hrs accused Nasir, Shamir and Kabir criminally restrianed one Ismail (36) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk at 7th Block Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to financial issue.
  
• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 06/09/2007 at 1000 hrs at Yeyyady Derebailu village Mangalore Taluk accused Anantha Shenoy and Vijayalaxmi Shenoy abused one Kodandarama Shetty (50) R/o Aravindanagara Basavanahalli Chikkamagalor in filthy language and assaulted him with iron rod owing to financial issue.

• A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Women Police Station. On 06/09/2007 at 1200 hrs WPSI Women PS on rounds arrested one Manjula R/o Kana Surathkal Mangalore Taluk who was soliciting for prostitution at public place near K.S.R.T.C Bus stand at Mangalore.

• A case of Boy missing has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. One Rajesh (21) R/o Perigeri Badaganoor village Puttur Taluk left his house on 30/08/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing then.
  
• A case of Girl missing has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. One Lalitha (27) R/o Kalamajalu Kenya village Sullia Taluk left her house on 04/09/2007 at 0800 hrs and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing then.
