• A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/08/2007 in between 2200 hrs and 0500 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Reflector Sheet, Aluminum Frames and other items that was kept near Indian Oil Petrol pump at Halekote Belthangady Town. The total value of stolen property is 48,632/.

Motor Vehicle Theft: 01

• A case of MV theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 31/08/2007 in between 1530 hrs and 1730 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-5937 belonging to one Ashraf (34) R/o Jeppu Mangalore that was parked in the premise of Colaco Hospital . The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.

• A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station where in one Ramesh declared dead while under treatment on 01/09/2007 at 2230 hrs. The said Ramesh was seriously injured by a Bus in a road traffic accident on 27/08/2007 at 2015 hrs at Kallumura Jalsur village Sullia Taluk and admitted to the Govt Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has already been registered in Sullia Police Station.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1300 hrs in front of Sridevi college M.G. road Mangalore one Rooppa Shetty driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-1063 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Beepathumma (54) R/o Nellyadi Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 01/09/2007 at 1515 hrs at Charanthipete Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk one Hamza driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-0246 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Abubakkar (50) R/o Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk and Maimuna who were travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1600 hrs Padmannur Kemral village Mangalore Taluk one Paddu driver of Mahindra Pickup bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5462 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mohammed Asif (21) R/o Pakshikere Kemral village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 01/09/2007 at 0830 hrs on NH 17 at Kulai Mangalore Taluk one Suresha driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-7646 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-7365. As a result motorcycle rider one Rahul R. K. (19) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
  
• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 01/09/2007 at 1230 hrs at Paladka Sullia one Abdul Hameed driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-05-P-2950 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Qualis car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-G-4129 driven by one Balakrishna due which Qualis car got damaged. Further Maruti car driver lost control over his vehicle due which Maruti car fell into road side ditch. As a result Tajuddin and Haneef who where travelling in the Maruti car sustained simple injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 29/08/2007 at 2030 hrs at Parima Kaliya village Belthangady Taluk one Ummar Kunhi driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9151 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Adbul Rahiman D. H. (38) R/o Nayatharpu village Belthangady Taluk who was travelling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

• A case under Criminally restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1530 hrs accused Four Students of Sridevi College criminally restrained one Prem K.P. (18) R/o Alappi district Kerala State near M.G. Road Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 31/08/2007 at 1730 hrs one unknown person criminally restrained one Anwil D’Souza R/o Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk at the premise of Sri Devi college Mangalore and abused him in filthy and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
  
• A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 19/08/2007 at 2100 hrs accused Seetharama Shetty and Sadananda Shetty criminally restrained one Joseph D’Souza R/o Kebilya Pajeeru village Bantwal Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to personal enmity.
