  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On the intervening night of 23-24/09/2007 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Bangady Sahakari Vyvasayika Bank at Hediya Kadirudyavara village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 5,000/ and 15 Umbrellas all in worth Rs. 6,500/.
  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 23/09/2007 and 24/09/2007 at 0615 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the Milk Co-operative Society at Hediya Kadirudyavara village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of cash Rs. 4,300/.

On 24/09/2007 at 1645 hrs some unkown culprits committed thef of a Handbag, gold ornaments and cash Rs. 100/ that was kept inside the car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-9418 belonging to one Plama Montheiro (24) R/o Ashokanagara Mangalore at seashore at Panambur Mangalore Taluk.

  • A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 23/09/2007 in between 1800 hrs to 2300 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Discover motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-5150 belonging to one Leo France D’Souza R/o Antony Garden Falnir Mangalore that was parked at in front of his house. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30, 000/.
  • A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 19/09/2007 in between 1000 hrs to 1220 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-1129 belonging to one Yathiraj B (36) R/o Dongarakeri Mangalore that was parked at the premise of Jyothi Talkies Mangalore. The auto rickshaw is worth Rs. 15, 000/.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 20/09/2007 at 1200 hrs at Falnir Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-4085 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Honnamma (71) R/o Kallige Bantwal Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 24/09/2007 at 1630 hrs near Bendoorwell circle at Mangalore one unknown driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-9199 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-5360. As a result one Leeladhara rider of said Kinetic Honda scooter sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 23/09/2007 at 2300 hrs at Bhandasale Kuriyala village Bantwal Taluk one Rajeevan driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-58-6080 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-13-A-113 belonging one Lokkayya Sapaliga R/o Attaje Herebhandadi Puttur Taluk which was parked at roadside. Further the lorry bearing Reg. No. KL-13-A-113 moved backward direction and rammed to an electric pole. As a result both vehicles got damaged.

  • A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 23/09/2007 at 1700 hrs at Bastikodi junction Pilimogaru village Bantwal Taluk accused Yogish, Sadashiva, Rajesh Sapalya and Krishna Prabhu stopped a motorcycle baring Reg. No. KA-19-R-7513 and abused rider of said motorcycle one Vittala Shetty (45) R/o Ajjibettu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him by hand with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 24/09/2007 one Yogish Shetty abused one Latheef A. R/o Pachamogaru village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and also gave life threat to him over a phone owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under the Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 14/09/2007 at 0600 hrs PSI Panambur PS along with his staff conducted a raid on room at Angaragundi Baikampady Mangalore Taluk and arrested Janardhana Gowda (24), Rajesh Poojary, Raj Kumar M, Narayana and two girls who were soliciting for prostitution at there and also seized the cash Rs. 950/ from them.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 24/09/2007 at 1030 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 40 yrs to 41 yrs was found on railway track at Hosabettu Mangalore Taluk. It seems to be a case of suicide. Identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
  • A case of Unnatural death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 24/07/2006 at 1415 hrs one Mallesh (30) R/o Vasanoor village Hanagal Taluk Haveri District fell down near bus stand at Karnadu Mulki Mangalore Taluk due to heavy drunkenness and he was admitted to Wenlock hospital Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on the same day 1930 hrs.
  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 24/09/2007 in between 2200 hrs and 0400 hrs one Renuka Badanal (20) w/o Basavaraju R/o Kunjathbail village Mangalore Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing personal problem.
